German Court Rules AI Music Generator Suno Violated Copyrights

A Munich court has ruled that the AI music generator Suno infringed on copyrights through both model training and generated output. The court found that six songs were reproducibly stored within Suno's models, leading to the rejection of defenses based on Germany's text-and-data-mining exception and the US fair use doctrine.
