OpenAI's unreleased Astra model has achieved a major breakthrough in mathematics, successfully solving 10 problems that have remained open for decades.
The problems span multiple advanced fields including high-dimensional geometry, coding theory, operator algebras, quantum complexity, and lattice cryptography. The solving process was executed via the Sol API, costing roughly $2,000 in total (about $200 per question).
