New Open-Source Framework Tackles LLM Hallucinations in Enterprise Data Pipelines

While LLMs excel at writing disposable data-processing scripts, they often fail when tasked with building complex workflows that fit into an enterprise's existing infrastructure—a problem termed the "NLP2Pipeline gap."

To bridge this disconnect, researchers introduced DataFlow-Harness, an open-source framework. It equips agents with the necessary scaffolding via a Data Pipeline Backend, a WebUI, an MCP Tools Layer, and a DataFlow-Skills layer. Experiments show it effectively curbs AI hallucinations regarding pipeline dependencies and generates consistent, reusable data pipelines at less than a third of the usual API cost.
