Stanford and GXL Host re:AGENT Hackathon for End-to-End Agentic Science

The re:AGENT hackathon, hosted by GXL and affiliated groups, will take place in San Francisco from August 15-16, focusing on "End-to-End Agentic Science."
The event targets the infrastructure needed for scientific agents, including:
- Better datasets: Creating research-ready data that would be impractical to assemble manually.
- Sharper tools: Utilizing tools like Paperclip (agent-native workspace) and Proto (generative biology framework).
- Reliable evaluation: Ensuring the scientific results produced by agents are trustworthy.
Participants will use AI models like Claude to build systems tackling real scientific problems in biology and design.
