Open-Source ComfyUI Node for Auto Color Correction & LoRA Cast Fixing
Forsaken-Mouse-5071 · reddit · 2026-08-01
To address the color shifts (like unwanted yellow, green, or magenta casts) often caused by Krea LoRAs in ComfyUI, a developer has open-sourced a custom node called Famegrid Auto Color.
Key features of the tool include:
- Intelligent Analysis: It analyzes shadows, highlights, tonal ranges, and likely-neutral areas of each image individually to build a correction, rather than applying a fixed LUT.
- Protection & Control: Includes skin-hue protection and adjustable sliders for brightness, shadows, highlights, saturation, vibrancy, and correction strength.
- Local & Deterministic: Processes in Float32 inside ComfyUI without requiring extra model downloads or network requests, ensuring identical results for the same inputs.
The node is available on GitHub, and the author is actively seeking feedback and edge-case examples to further refine the tool.
