Stanford Scholar Rebuts "AI is All We Need" for Science

Stanford Professor Anshul Kundaje has pushed back against recent extrapolations claiming "AI is all we need" for science. He argues that breakthroughs in math are fundamentally different from open-ended research in biology.
He criticized the notion that we don't need to invest in training human scientists as "utterly and hopelessly uncalibrated."
