Grok Build Update: Permanent Session Deletion and Diagnostics
XFreeze · x · 2026-08-01
xAI's terminal tool Grok Build released version v0.2.118. The update introduces permanent session deletion via shortcuts (Ctrl+X twice) or welcome list commands, and adds guidance for browsing prompt history and searching conversations to the keyboard shortcuts help.
Additionally, grok doctor can now detect and fix color issues caused by tmux. Bug fixes include: /btw retrying on temporary model overload instead of failing, temporary disabling of session sharing, allowing cancellation with Ctrl+C during /compact, and fixing an issue where automatic recaps appeared twice after the same turn.
