Y Combinator Open-Sources QM, Its Internal Multi-Agent Harness
garrytan · x · 2026-08-01
Y Combinator (YC) has announced the open-source release of QM, a multi-agent harness used internally. Licensed under MIT, the project is cloud-first and comes with native Slack and Web UI integrations.
YC noted that QM is designed to be highly customizable—similar to Hermes or OpenClaw—but robust enough for company-wide deployment. Internally, YC leverages QM across various departments including accounting, legal, events, and engineering, even using it to build QM itself.
