EU AI Act to Mandate External Adversarial Evaluations for Open-Weight Models

With the codes starting to kick in soon, the EU AI Act's Code of Practice is drawing renewed attention. A researcher points out that the appendices unambiguously require developers of open-weight frontier models to let external evaluators conduct adversarial fine-tuning evals.
