W&B Update: Render Inline Media via URI Without Re-uploading Gigabytes
wandb · x · 2026-08-01
Weights & Biases announced that its tracing tool, Weave, now supports rendering externally stored media. Developers no longer need to re-upload gigabytes of video files to view them in their agent traces.
Users can store media in their own buckets, log the URI string from an agent span, and Weave will render the image or video inline. Only the URI is sent over the network, significantly reducing bandwidth and storage overhead.
