ycombinator · x · 2026-08-01
TracerML has launched Echo, a new model based on open weights. The team claims that Echo matches or nearly matches Fable's performance on math, science, and currently covered coding benchmarks.
Furthermore, Echo achieves this at approximately one-third of Fable's inference cost. However, it currently trails Fable in multilingual capabilities and broader knowledge tasks.
