Dev Experience: Codex Takes Over Entire Workflow, Manual Coding Abandoned

A developer notes that his coding habits have radically changed since the release of the Codex app six months ago. He previously believed he would always need an integrated terminal, git worktree management, and manual code editing.
Although these features are still available in the app, he no longer uses them. Instead, he delegates tasks entirely to Codex, which autonomously uses whatever tools are necessary to complete the job.
