Leopold Aschenbrenner's Fund Dumps $16B Public Equities Amid Heavy Losses

According to the FT, the hedge fund 'Situational Awareness', run by former OpenAI employee Leopold Aschenbrenner, has rapidly sold a large portion of its $16 billion public equity holdings to Citadel after suffering heavy losses in recent days. The fund still retains private stakes, including a $5 billion holding in Anthropic, and will continue operating as a private investment firm.
