Edison Launches 'Edison Advances' Platform to Build and Evaluate AI Scientists

Edison announced the launch of Edison Advances, a centralized hub for sharing their research announcements, engineering blogs, open-weights models, and benchmarks.
The organization is currently building Kosmos, an AI Scientist designed to solve foundational research problems and make novel discoveries across scientific domains. Alongside this, they are actively developing better methods to measure and evaluate AI scientists, particularly focusing on their ability to handle long-horizon tasks and identify reasoning gaps.
