Musk Predicts 99.99% of AI Compute Will Eventually Migrate to Space

Elon Musk recently made a bold prediction regarding the evolution of AI compute infrastructure. He stated that over the next few years, more than 90% of AI compute will remain server-side.
However, in the long term, he expects 99.99% of compute to move to space. Musk emphasized that while AI may begin on Earth, its ultimate infrastructure will be built in space to harness abundant energy.
