Epoch AI Expands FrontierMath Benchmark with 50 Unsolved Math Problems

Epoch AI announced a major expansion to its mathematics benchmark, FrontierMath, introducing 'Open Problems'. The benchmark now contains 50 significant, unsolved problems from research mathematics. AI has solved three of them so far, and solving all would represent an incredible mathematical feat.
