Google Gemini officially announced its monthly "Gemini Drops" update, bringing comprehensive upgrades to desktop, mobile, and multimodal experiences:
- New Models: Introduced upgraded Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite, offering better reasoning at greater speeds.
- macOS Voice Interaction: The Gemini macOS app now supports voice commands, allowing users to dictate, summarize files, and rewrite copy directly into any window.
- Agent & Ecosystem: Personal AI agent Gemini Spark is now available in more countries and languages. Users can also connect third-party apps like Dropbox, Viator, and Zillow to organize files, book activities, and search for rentals.
- Personalized Image Generation: All U.S. users can now generate deeply personalized images based on unique preferences. A digital avatar feature (Nano Banana) is also available to seamlessly create custom images or videos without uploading reference selfies.
