Siva Reddy congratulated his PhD student Benno Krojer from McGill for successfully defending his thesis on "Deep Integration of Vision and Language." The research spans evaluation, modeling, and interpretability.
Krojer's work offers some of the strongest evidence for the Platonic Representation Hypothesis, suggesting that multi-modal representations are converging. He will next join David Bau’s group at Northeastern University for a postdoc focusing on interpretability.
