NVIDIA Launches Jetson Agent Skills: AI Automatically Optimizes Edge Device Memory

NVIDIA has launched a new toolkit called Jetson Agent Skills, enabling AI coding agents to automatically optimize memory configurations for hardware like robots.
While AI coding assistants can write drivers and scaffold projects, they often struggle with the bottleneck of fitting large models onto specific hardware. This toolkit packages NVIDIA's hardware expertise into step-by-step agent workflows, including auditing memory, picking the right runtime, and tuning the setup.
In an official example, the agent freed over 5GB of memory on a real build, allowing a full on-device AI robot (voice, vision, text-to-speech, face tracking) to run completely offline on a tiny 8GB board. The tool works with open models like Qwen3, and the skills are now open-source on GitHub.
