SenseNova U1.5 Lite Released: Native 4K Generation and Dense Text Rendering
SandyL925 · reddit · 2026-07-31
SenseNova released the preview version of SenseNova U1.5 Lite, a multimodal model that shows significant improvements across various image generation and editing benchmarks.
Key updates include:
- Native 4K Generation: Noticeable improvements in texture, material, and lighting details.
- Text Rendering: Improved Chinese and English text rendering for dense layouts like posters and infographics.
- Long Prompt Understanding: Reliably handles long, structured prompts with hierarchical constraints (a doc example uses 3,880 Chinese characters).
- Localized Editing: Changing one region of the image no longer shifts the rest of the image.
- New Workflows: Supports multi-reference composition, style transfer, and continuous iterative editing without rerolling.
The model is still in preview, with acknowledged weaknesses in short prompt understanding, small font rendering, face detail, and aesthetic consistency.
