Cohere Among First to Sign EU Code of Practice on AI Content Transparency

Cohere has announced that it signed the EU Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content, making it one of the first companies in the world to do so.
The Code serves as a voluntary tool for demonstrating compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which aims to ensure the integrity of Europe’s information ecosystem through transparent AI systems and outputs. Cohere signed Section 1 of the Code, which is applicable to AI system providers. The move highlights Cohere's commitment to responsible AI governance and its strategic focus on sovereign AI within the European market.
