antirez Begins Converting DeepSeek v4 Flash to GGUF for Local Inference
antirez · x · 2026-07-31
Prominent open-source developer antirez announced he is working on converting the new DeepSeek v4 Flash checkpoint to the GGUF format to support local inference.
He noted that if the model performs as well as it appears, he will likely remove GGLM 5.2 support from his system, as the new model is smaller and better suited for local execution. He also reached out to the community for feedback on this potential transition.
