Fish Audio announced a $52 million seed funding round alongside the public launch of its S2.1 Pro voice model. The company claims the model can clone voices from just 5 seconds of audio, operates twice as fast as Cartesia, and costs 1/6th the price of ElevenLabs, featuring word-level emotion and intonation control.
To drive adoption, Fish Audio is offering a bold guarantee: if they cannot reduce a business's voice AI costs by 50%, the company will provide its services for free for a year. Additionally, they are giving all users one month of free access to the S2.1 Pro API.
