teortaxesTex · x · 2026-07-31
Following OpenAI's price cuts, a user compared the equally priced DeepSeek V4-Flash ($0.28/M) and OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna ($1.20/M) across three Canvas rendering tests.
Results show DeepSeek performed better in Rubik's cube rotation and fireworks animation tests, while Luna suffered from flying stickers and severe lag. Neither model produced legible handwriting animations. The conclusion is that at the same budget tier, DeepSeek V4-Flash clearly outperforms GPT-5.6 Luna.
