Open Source Azure Architecture Agent Supports MCP for Automated Design
_jaydeepkarale · x · 2026-07-31
Azure Architecture Diagram Builder is a free, open-source tool that has recently gone agent-ready. It can turn plain English prompts into Azure architecture diagrams, refine them via chat, generate Bicep code, estimate monthly costs, and validate against the Well-Architected Framework.
Its biggest update is the exposure of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This allows AI agents to autonomously design, validate, cost, and generate Azure architectures without human interaction via the UI.
