An open-source tool named YouTube Shorts Pipeline (Verticals v3) can automatically turn a news headline into a published YouTube Short via a single command.

The pipeline chains several mainstream AI tools: Claude for scripting, Gemini Imagen for visuals, ElevenLabs for voiceover, and Whisper for captions. The cost breakdown is highly efficient, totaling around $0.10 per video (Script: $0.02, Visuals: $0.03, Voice: $0.05).

Users simply type a topic and get a finished video in 3–5 minutes. It supports multiple languages, custom voice IDs, a dry-run preview mode, and manual script overrides. Fully open-source under the MIT License with local storage.
