AI has discovered a critical vulnerability in the COLDCARD Mk3 Bitcoin hardware wallet, resulting in the loss of 600 BTC.
According to the official security advisory, funds are at risk if a seed phrase was generated on the device after firmware 4.0.1. However, users who generated their seed phrases offline using physical dice remain secure. This highlights a key lesson: the best defenses against futuristic AI attacks can often be manual and mundane.
