MiniMax Launches H3 Video Model: 2K Native Stereo Sound, Open Weights Coming Soon

MiniMax has launched H3, a general-purpose multimodal generation model that understands unified context across text, images, audio, and video. It generates videos up to 15 seconds long at 2K resolution with native stereo sound. H3 excels in instruction following, accurate text/brand rendering, and V2V motion transfer, targeting commercial use cases like advertising, e-commerce, and gaming.
On pricing, H3 defaults to 2K resolution at less than a third of the per-second cost of mainstream models. At 768p, it is priced at less than half of what competitors charge for 720p. To support the open-source community and broader hardware compatibility, MiniMax plans to open-source the H3 model weights in the coming days.
