ChatGPT autonomously installs Blender and codes a 3D scene render
goodside · x · 2026-07-31
A user discovered that ChatGPT (5.6 Sol Max) can autonomously install Blender and programmatically generate 3D scenes. In the test, it successfully rendered a 1024x1024 image of a chessboard recreating the 1956 Byrne vs. Fischer match, complete with complex details like Fischer's lost queen balanced on a wheelbarrow of tropical fruit.
The model returned not only the final rendered image but also an editable Blender scene file.
