Internet Resurfaces 30,000-Signature 'Pause Giant AI Experiments' Letter to Mock Big Tech Predictions

In response to important figures predicting the near future of AI, an X user resurfaced the famous open letter from the Future of Life Institute. Published in March 2023, the letter called on all AI labs to pause training systems more powerful than GPT-4 for at least 6 months and garnered over 31,810 signatures, warning of profound risks to society and humanity.
