ArtificialAnlys · x · 2026-07-31
Google's Gemini Omni Flash claims the #1 spot on the Artificial Analysis Video Editing Leaderboard, leading in four categories: Complex Edits, Object Editing, Visual Effects, and Physics Simulation. It outperforms the second-place model by 117 Elo points in Complex Edits, proving its capability in handling precise multi-part instructions.
Its weak point is audio, placing 5th in SFX and 3rd in Sound & Speech Editing, behind Alibaba's Wan 2.7 and HappyHorse 1.0. The model also occasionally declines prompts involving people due to content blocks.
Video editing is available via the Gemini API and other platforms, priced identically to generation at $6.00 per minute.
