Prediction market platform Polymarket has opened betting on the release timing of xAI's next flagship model, Grok 5. Current odds indicate a 78% probability that the model will be released by December 31.
To qualify, the model must be explicitly named Grok 5 or announced by xAI as its next flagship generation succeeding Grok 4. Furthermore, it must be publicly accessible via open beta or rolling waitlist; closed betas will not count.
