Human Art Falsely Accused as AI and Review Bombed, Devs Complain
draginol · x · 2026-07-31
With the proliferation of AI-generated art, some anti-AI groups are engaging in "witch hunts" against human creations.
Game developers complain that concept art and assets, which took their teams significant time to create, are frequently and baselessly accused of being AI-generated, leading to review bombing. The original poster cynically suggests they might as well just use AI art since human work gets falsely penalized anyway. Furthermore, because many AI models were trained on game art styles from the last 15 years, a lot of human-made games now inherently possess an "AI look," which exacerbates false accusations.
