HashiCorp Founder Launches Superlogical: A Terminal Multiplexer for AI Agents and Humans

dfinke · x · 2026-07-31

Mitchell Hashimoto, founder of HashiCorp and creator of Ghostty, has launched a new company called Superlogical.

The core thesis is that workflows across local development, remote access, coding agents, background jobs, and production are deeply fragmented. AI makes this fragmentation more visible and costly, though it didn't create it.

The company is building a terminal multiplexer for "all work." It aims to provide a durable session layer that unifies interactive, automatic, and agent-driven work into a single system, allowing seamless context sharing, operational history preservation, and safe production control.
