Microsoft-owned LinkedIn has introduced a new feature allowing users to flag posts that appear to be AI-generated slop.

According to AI detector Pangram, a staggering 41% of longform posts on LinkedIn are entirely generated by AI. To combat this influx, LinkedIn's Chief Product Officer stated that tackling AI slop is a top priority. Alongside the new reporting button, the platform is ramping up its classifier algorithms to automatically identify and reduce the visibility of low-quality, AI-generated content in users' feeds and suggestions.
