OpenAI Slashes GPT-5.6 API Prices and Boosts Speed

OpenAI announced further advancements in its model frontier regarding cost efficiency, capability, and speed, significantly reducing API prices.
Specifically, the GPT-5.6 Luna model is now 80% cheaper, and GPT-5.6 Terra is 20% cheaper. Additionally, GPT-5.6 Sol now offers a Fast mode that runs 2.5× faster. These lower prices are also reflected in how usage is counted for Codex and ChatGPT Work, allowing users' quotas to go further.
