GitHub Copilot Polishes Code Selection in Diff View with Custom Handler

The GitHub Copilot team has refined the interaction within its app's diff view. Previously, users could accidentally spill their code selection into other files or the chat panel while dragging.
To fix this pain point, the development team built a custom selection handler that strictly scopes dragging to a single file, making the selection process faster, more precise, and reliable.
