Perplexity Launches Projects: A Collaboration Hub for Agents and Humans
AravSrinivas · x · 2026-07-31
Perplexity has announced Projects (an evolution of Spaces), positioning it as a central hub for ongoing collaboration between agents and humans.
As AI agents take on longer-running tasks, they require more agent-native ways to persist and self-improve through memories, skills, and files. Projects provide a shared file system and persistent memory area, packaged with a set of CLI tools intentionally designed for agents to collaborate across files, projects, and with other agents. Additionally, the feature supports both individually-scoped and project-level credentials.
