OpenAI Open-Sources Codex Security CLI for Vulnerability Detection

OpenAI has released the Codex Security CLI and TypeScript SDK under the Apache 2.0 license. The tool helps developers scan repositories, track security findings across runs, and export reports. It supports CI/CD integration and defaults to the gpt-5.6-sol model for high-reasoning code audits.
