Waymo is introducing the new Ojai in-car experience for its ride-hailing service, integrating Google's Gemini as a conversational AI assistant. Riders can use voice commands to control cabin features like A/C, ask for local recommendations, or request a pullover. Gemini operates independently from the Waymo Driver and does not control vehicle movement or routing.
