Simile AI, Joined by Ex-OpenAI Staff, Raises $200M Series B

Startup Simile AI, recently joined by former OpenAI member Sai Krishna, announced a Series B funding round of over $200 million at a $2 billion valuation. The round was led by Greenoaks, with participation from Index Ventures and other returning and new investors.
The company's ambitious mission is to "simulate the planet." According to the New York Times, its technology is already applied in real-world scenarios, such as helping CVS Pharmacy build 400,000 "agentic twins" to study patient medication adherence.
