Google Launches Gemini Robotics ER 2: High-Level Brain for Embodied AI

Google AI has introduced Gemini Robotics ER 2, its most capable embodied reasoning model to date. Designed to act as a high-level brain for robotics, the model connects directly to the Gemini Live API.
It processes continuous video streams to track progress, call tools, search the web, and command an action model in real time. Key upgrades for developers include:
