Luma Agents Launches Layers: Conversational Image Element Extraction and Editing
mrjonfinger · x · 2026-07-31
Luma Labs announced that its Luma Agents now feature a new Layers system. Users can simply ask the agent to extract layers from any generated or uploaded image.
Once extracted, users can keep chatting with the agent to modify specific elements—such as swapping the product, restyling the background, or rewriting the headline—while preserving everything else. Powered by the Uni-1 model, this greatly streamlines the image editing workflow.
