AI cloud provider Nscale has announced the acquisition of Anyscale, the platform for scaling AI workloads.
The merger combines highly complementary strengths: Nscale supplies the underlying physical infrastructure like GPUs, data centers, and power, while Anyscale brings the software layer that ML engineers use to run workloads across thousands of GPUs. Post-acquisition, Anyscale will continue operating under its brand with its 200-person team joining Nscale, aiming to help enterprises accelerate image processing, fine-tune LLMs, and deploy AI agents in-house.
