AI Detectors Fooled: LLM-Generated Random Numbers Flagged Differently Than Python's
nrehiew_ · x · 2026-07-31
The author points out that LLM-generated randomness is fundamentally different from true programmatic randomness.
An experiment reveals that if an LLM generates a list of 200 random numbers, AI detection tools flag it as 100% AI-generated. Conversely, if a list of random numbers generated programmatically using Python is tested, the detector flags it as 100% human-generated. This exposes the flaws and high false positive rates in current AI content detection tools.
