AI Replacing Jobs Is Not a Regression, But the Path to the AGI Era

The author argues that the goal of AI should not be to protect existing jobs indefinitely. Work is merely an old system created because society needed human labor; as AI and robotics mature, many jobs becoming obsolete is an inevitable next stage of progress.
If AI never replaces work, we may never truly enter an AGI world. The real challenge is not stopping job loss, but building a new society where people can live with dignity, purpose, and creative freedom even when traditional employment is no longer the center of life.
