OpenAI to Grant Free Frontier Model Access to 100,000 Researchers

OpenAI announced the launch of a free ChatGPT access program for academic researchers. Designed to accelerate scientific discovery across disciplines, the initiative will initially provide access to 10,000 scientists, mathematicians, and engineers, with plans to expand to 100,000 researchers by 2027.
