A developer created leviathan-19t on Hugging Face using only a laptop with 344GB of storage, making it the largest model by parameter count on the platform.
To bypass the 9TB storage requirement for 19 trillion parameters, the author uploaded it in sharded batches and pruned locally. The model is completely useless in practice, as it is filled entirely with zeros and cannot be run.
