Chaining Krea2 Turbo Passes: A New Fix for Ignored Facial Expression Prompts
Practical_Low29 · reddit · 2026-07-30
A developer found that Krea2 often ignores facial expression prompts during image generation. To solve this, the author tested a new workflow configuration.
Key Findings:
- Initially, feeding Krea2 RAW output into Krea2 Turbo resulted in flat images with inaccurate expressions.
- The Effective Solution: Dropping RAW entirely and chaining Krea2 Turbo into Krea2 Turbo. Running 6 steps per pass and using a different sampler on the second pass than the first.
The author notes that using different samplers is crucial: the first pass builds the underlying structure, while the second pass with a different sampler unlocks fine expression details, breaking the model's tendency to default to neutral looks.
