AI Automates Invoice Disputes, Disrupting Offshore Accounting
SucceededMind · x · 2026-07-30
Freehand AI has launched an AI agent that automates enterprise invoice processing. While large companies currently manually audit only about 12% of invoices, this AI can review 100% of them.
When it detects an error, the system can autonomously draft a dispute with attached contracts, email the supplier, ask the internal team for context via Slack, and follow up until the cash is recovered without human intervention. The company claims it has recovered over $260M for clients like Meta and Unilever, and recently raised $75M.
